Everything you need to know about DomainRadar.
We use the official RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol), which is the modern replacement for WHOIS. It queries the authoritative registry for each TLD directly. Results are highly accurate but we recommend always confirming at your chosen registrar before purchasing.
There's no hard limit on our end. However, very large batches (hundreds of domains Γ many TLDs) may slow down depending on your internet connection, as each lookup is a live network request. For best performance we recommend batches of 20β50 names at a time.
Some TLD registries have rate limits or don't fully support RDAP yet. If a lookup times out or returns an unexpected status code, we show "Unknown" rather than guessing. Simply rerun the check and most unknowns will resolve on the second attempt.
No. DomainRadar only checks availability β it does not register, reserve, or purchase domains. To register an available domain, head to a registrar like Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare Registrar, or Google Domains.
